Nicholas Natzis-Schoch Joined the Lab
The Yan Lab welcomes Nick, a joint graduate student with the Zhu Lab at Yale Chemistry. As a theorist, Nick will develop new methods for simulating vibrational spectra, and help interpret chiral SFG spectra of folded biopolymers at the molecular level.

At the Vibrational Spectroscopy Gordon Research Conference (GRC: Vibrational Spectroscopy) at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI, Ty Santiago received an Award for Outstanding Poster Presentation and gave an oral presentation at a session for poster presentation awardees. He was also elected to Co-Chair the 2026 GRS: Vibrational Spectroscopy in Manchester, NH.
